Boy Scout Sam Folsom from Troop 57 Heatherwood Baptist Church recently completed his Eagle Scout Project. The project was to locate cemeteries in Sharpsburg, GA, identify GPS coordinates, and road directions. The beneficiary of this work is the Coweta County Genealogical Society. This information will be used to update the society’s cemetery books. Family researchers will now be able to get directions and GPS coordinates to the cemeteries where family members are located.
